This project is targeted to European SMEs and large enterprises requiring technical skills in maintenance jobs fitting with industrial automatic process system.
The major part of European SMEs and large enterprises operating in industrial production fields requires to improve workers abilities in the maintenance jobs for developing themselves or for keeping competitively.
Often, they are in from of availability and mobility problems concerning their workers, and thy have not to much money for financing training actions.
E-learning should be an answer for decreasing cost and improving efficiency due to the possibility to set up personal training courses. However, nowadays the lack of tacking in consideration the specific way the individual trainee learning mode decreases the efficiency of e-learning.
E-learning developing is more difficult in technical field because practical part of the training, witch recovers the best the professional and operative aspect targeted, is hard and expensive to set because process equipment must be in consideration.
So, one way to favour e-learning in technical fields in general, and in maintenance for industrial proves in particular, is to study the fitting between existing medium and educational visual tool in one hand, and trainee learning mode (autonomy, ability?) in the other hand.
